Feel like Pitching In?

Get 'Er Done!

Our goal of producing a barn wedding on a budget is an ambitious one, but we feel up to the challenge. However, this does not mean that we wouldn't welcome a little bit of help. Most of our needs are small and I'm sure easily met.

Silverware

We are electing to use real silverware as opposed to disposible and are trying to scrounge together eating utinsels for the masses. If you have old silverware that doesn't match stashed away somewhere we can take it off your hands. If you would like us to return it at the end we can easily do that as well.

Mason Jars

No sense renting five different kinds of glassware when good old fashioned Mason jars can do the trick for everything. We are looking for the pint sized or jam sized jars. Many people have these stashed in their basements from failed canning experiments, and we can put these to good use. For those few that actually use their Mason jars, we can once again return them... with interest.

Christmas Lights

Almost everbody has that untanglable mess in a box somewhere that you just can't wait to part with. Well here is your chance. We need lighting for the barn and around and we feel Christmas lights are an elegant and inexpensive method.

Flowers

Once again we are asking each person to bring a bouquet of flowers, potted plant, or something greenish. If, of course, you wish to bring more than please do so.

Food

While food will be supplied for the wedding reception, if you wish to bring a dish to pass we would love it. Also, there will be other days like The Game Day that a bunch of sandwichs or some such will go over wonderfully.

Original Ideas

If you have any ideas or thoughts on ways to make a barn hospitable for the evening please don't hesitate to send us an email
